Are you available for a dive trip next month or September?

Then you could be in luck … we have a few single-diver spaces, plus a handful of cabins, for our luxury cruises in Indonesia (only 5 trips have space)!

Contact us today to get a great deal, before they all book up (info@thearenui.com)!

If you can’t make it this year, then keep an eye out for spaces in 2012 … but again it’s getting busy so plan early!

  • Get updates on our ‘Facebook’ page… or check availability for cruises on our ‘discussion board'
  • Guests, please join your cruise at FB ‘events’ to meet fellow divers and share photos!

Here are the spaces for 2011:

AUGUST 9-17: Labuanbajo-Bali 8N Cruise (embark: Labuanbajo, disembark: Bali):
- See below for the overview of the Grand Komodo cruise. This trip will suit those with a little less time as it’s an 8 night cruise as opposed to an 11 night cruise, but you will still explore all the incredible sites between Bali and Komodo as well as the thrill of walking with the oldest living dinosaur!
- Availability = ONLY 1 SPACE: Legong (single-diver space, share with male guest)

AUGUST 20-31: Grand Komodo 11N Cruise (e/d: Bali):
- The Komodo National park offers excellent muck diving, but also outstanding pelagic action. Whether its nudibranchs and rhinopias you’re after, or manta rays and schooling fish, this cruise really has it all. Two popular sites at Gili Lawa Laut, called Crystal Rock and Castle Rock, will offer opportunities for critter spotting as well as big fish action. In fact, the dive site of Castle Rock is a nice opportunity to try out a ‘reef-hook’ dive as you secure yourself to the rock and float in the current, watching the schooling fish and predator/prey action! Try something unusual at Sangeang island as we dive in the shadow of an active volcano… feeling the hot springs bubbling up under the sand. Plus you’ll have time for a walk on Rinca island to meet the giant lizard known as the Komodo dragon! To sum up, these cruises are all about diversity: exhilarating drift diving, interesting muck diving, encounters with pelagics (mantas, sharks, whale sharks, sunfish), macro attractions (pygmy seahorses, blue-ringed octopus, frogfish, ghost pipefish), shallow reefs, walls, pinnacles, seamounts, pristine hard/soft corals.
- Availability = ONLY 1 SPACE: Barong (single-diver space, share with male guest)

SEPTEMBER 1-12: Grand Komodo 11N Cruise (e/d: Bali):
- See above for the full overview of the Grand Komodo cruise. Photographers will also be delighted that pro William Tan joins us for this cruise to share his underwater skills and tips with guests.
- Availability = ONLY 1 SPACE: Barong (single-diver space, share with male guest)

SEPTEMBER 13-24: Transnusa 11N Cruise – special Photo Workshop (e: Bali, d: Maumere):
- This cruise will explore all the main sites listed under the Grand Komodo cruise, but with the bonus of dives around Flores and Maumere, plus the chance to learn from professional photographers. … After diving Komodo, en route to Maumere, we stop on the north of Flores island at a little bay, for some muck diving at Discovery Bay. Take time out of diving for some land excursions here; trekking through the park to find ‘Varanus Riungensis’ (another giant lizard - slightly smaller and brighter than its cousin on Komodo) or visit the traditional village of Bena (where the population has maintained their original way of life - featuring buildings in keeping with their ancient customs). … Guests on this cruise are joined by professional photographers from BittenBySharks - Claudia Pellarini-Joubert and Leon Joubert - who will share tips and ideas with guests and give valuable photo workshops during the trip.
- Availability = ONLY 6 SPACES: Rama master-suite (ideal for couple), Dayak cabin (ideal for couple or individuals), Legong (single-diver space, share with female guest), or Barong (single-diver space, share with male guest).

SEPTEMBER 25 – 8 OCT: Alor-Komodo 13N Cruise (e: Maumere, d: Labuanbajo):
- This cruise will explore the stunning sites around Flores and Maumere, including excursions listed above in the Transnusa cruise, and then head on towards the major Komodo National Park dive sites… with nearly two-weeks to relax and enjoy all the incredible underwater and landscapes that this region has to offer. A great cruise to take your time and revisit your favourite sites.
- Availability = ONLY 4 SPACES: Legong cabin (ideal for couple or individuals), or Garuda cabin (ideal for couple or individuals).
