Snorkeling off Palm Beach

Yesterday we had calm conditions and clear water off the beach. Highlight of the day was seeing a school of 75 or more Tarpon in the 100 to 150 lb size range. Most were over 5 feet long. shot with a Go-Pro on a wrist mount.

DD: where do you park? I've walked north from the street parking where Royal Palm and Ocean Blvd intersect, and that seems like a long hike with gear and a kayak. I know there used to be parking on Sunset and Sunrise, but I think that is permit only now.

I've also heard folks scuba dive that little section of reef as well.... how would you rate it for scuba??

You drop your stuff off at the beach with a partner and then you drive away, park and walk back. I've never used a tank there. Not really necessary or worth the effort for shallow water.
