In an effort to clear up clutter on the deck of my sailboat and move windage low and aft, I am hoping to weld up tank holders and attach them to my stern pulpit (rails) and to the tubes that extend out to the wind vane (Scanmar Monitor) stearing. This tank holder would be a cage made of bent solid round rod (1/4" to 3/8") and ideally would incorporate premade rings with an internal diameter of 7.5 to 9 inch (19-23cm) to hold each tank like a "bar buoy" holds a can of coke.
If anyone has a source for 316 stainless rings (aka hoops) of this size please speak up. When I google anything with keywords "stainless" "316" and "ring" I get only fashion jewelry links. Grrrrrr. Frustrated. I am tempted to invest in a pipe roler bender but gosh that is going to make this "quick project" a chore.

Extraneous details that maybe are not needed: My hope is to make everything able to share the same holders all in the same place so there is less clutter. I am going to convert my propane tanks to upright 6 lbs cylinders (6-7" diameter), use beer cornilious kegs as water tight storage (8 or 9" diameter), and buy a stainless herbicide sprayer for warm shower and gear wash down (8-9" diameter). Maybe even some cylindrical jerry cans. dock fenders are similar size to all the above and holders for fenders exist at exorbitant prices. I doubt a rubber fender holder can provide the support needed for a dive tank and a propane cylinder but if someone can provide a link to a sturdy one at a decent price then that will save me lots of time.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP!!!!!!!!
