Is it true that you can only dive there at night in summer? I've read in one place no diving during beach hours, and in another place it says talk to the lifeguard and they may waive the $5 beach fee.
 
I have only dove there once in 2022, but yes we had to do it as a night dive after the beach closed. Honestly it was probably better as a night dive, tons of large crab and lobster.
 
I haven't dove there, but have been on the beach. Couldn't you go in outside of the beach area? I seem to recall it being a more difficult entry, but doable...
