Suggestions On Cleaning Inside Of Dome Port?

I own the Ikelite Modular 8" Dome Port. I was looking it over today (have a trip coming up) and noticed a lot of dust and other particles on the inside of the port.

Any suggestions on how best to clean it? I don't want to scratch it or anything.

I find microfiber cloths work very well. The manual for this port, which I understand is acrylic, recommends against using any type of glass or surface cleaners.

Cool, thanks for the tip. How about for smudges on the outside? Looks like I have a few.

Lens cloths. everytime I order something photo related from amazon or Adorama there seems to be one in the box when I receive it. I've been using those with a drop of plain water and it seems to work well. No smudges, no scratches, no residue, and no chemicals.
