Fort White , Florida

P.S. This time of year , those hot showers are sure nice , you betcha dere! :D

I love the Ball room as well. It's hard to forget my first overhead experience. I wish I was there right now.

It was great to knock the rust off. And it was great to meet TS&M and Peter. What a fun couple! Our last minute addition, Les, was an excellent diver and I'm glad he joined us.

Nice dives, nice people, great food! :)

oh, i'm *so* glad you enjoyed it! great write-ups, and the dives sound wonderful. i just wish you were there this time next month!

Yes, the gumbo at Floyd's was probably the best meal of the trip -- and it looked as though Peter enjoyed his enormous blue cheese burger, too!

It's looking more and more likely that we'll be back in February.

Next time you come down, shoot me a PM. We'll meet up at a steakhouse called Connestoga's, it's in Alachua about 15 minutes from Floyd's.

They've got the best steaks this side of Texas. And don't even get me started on the stuffed mushrooms......

Cheers :D

Will do for sure, Mike -- There's nothing gets Peter's ears to prick up better than the promise of a good steak!

What we Texans lose out on with mediocre diving, we make up for with great steaks!

Can't argue with that! Best steak I ever had was in Houston! :D
