Looking for commendations for bright color pens/inks to mark my gears.

I've tried the "Brite Mark Permanent Underwater Marking Pen" but it doesn't work on fabric/neoprene. The ink absorbed into the fabric and didn't show much. ALso didn't really work on silicone.

I was seriously considering buying a small can of outdoor paint+pen brush to write it.

Anyone got better ideas? :)

For fabric/neoprene you could use "scuba goop".
Google for it. It is sold in many fluo colors.
For smooth surfaces you can buy stickers with personalized printing on it.
There are special stickers, sold by the sheet on eBay, they lasts many months when attached on a clean surface.
The drawback is that when detaches it can potentially pollute the bottom.

I use a Markal permanent paint marker it works on my fins and only remarked once after about two years. I also use personal tags for my bags and hard cases that I make on Divelogs.com.
