Quick question .... Is there any 'rules of thumb' when moving between doubles and singles of tanks?

The tanks in question are Faber LP95's. I currently use a 8lb V-Weight w/ Al BP with them doubled. If I was to dive a single Faber LP95, theoretically, how would the amount of lead I wear change (aside from location)?

I went from 4kgs in twins to 7kgs in a single if that helps

I recompute based on exposure suit, tank characteristics, and other factors like not having a manifold, bands, and as many regulators.
