3mm hard sole will do.... Curacao entries are easier than Bonaire....
 
Many of them are beaches with real sand unlike Bonaire...:D At a lot of those the swimmers using the beach are barefoot. 3mm was enough for me also - it's all I brought.

Unlike Bonaire since there's dive facilities at a lot of the sites, they've often put in a dock or steps if needed.
