Remember that from Aug to Oct you have:

* 78% of the tropical storm days
* 87% of the "minor" hurricane days
* 96% of the "major" hurricane days

Bonaire or Curacao are your best choices at that time of year. NO HURRICANES. And reasonable too.

Not "NO HURRICANES" but less hurricanes. Hurricane Felix in 2007 passed within 70 miles of Bonaire.
