Why does iPhone's 120mm not focus?

Below is a very brief (and yes, pretty bad) footage. I filmed the nudis using the standard cameras lens on my iPhone 15 Max Pro (in Divevolk housing), then switched to the 5x zoom lens. The phone refused to focus with the zoom lens. Why is it?
(I'm using a Sola Pro 15000 on the default setting, and this was fairly shallow diving in the Philippines.)
