Nice but I have a question for you....

Were you wearing that when you were thrown from the dive boat or did you get it out after you got back on?

I have students all the time ask me if there is such a thing as Scuba Police. I snicker and show them my two badges that I carry, and say, "Yes, Me." Then I explain if I catch them with their mask on their forehead they go to jail, or better yet if they wear split fins, they get thrown behind bars. We all laugh, but some take me way to serious. I have to explain that I was once sworn in as a Deputy and a Police Officer, but my role now as an Under Water Criminal Investigator is a non sworn position. It's still fun though to see their reaction. Plus kids love seeing the bling bling.
