No Need to Beware of Kararu

Smokey:

We thought the food was really good. A continental breakfast was served before the first dive. Fruit, cereal, toast, coffee, tea, etc. were available buffet style. We pre-ordered breakfast from a menu the night before. They offered a good variety - eggs any style, ham bacon, banana pancakes, oatmeal and several Asian dishes. We love Mi Goreng with eggs on top, so we chose that most days. Full breakfast was served as you finished the first dive.

Lunches and dinners were buffet style, sometimes indoors, sometimes on covered deck. A good variety was offered. Soup and fresh rolls were made for each lunch and dinner. Ice cream was served after most dinners. They served us a nice turkey dinner for Thanksgiving Day. Theme dinners were presented - Italian, Japanese, Greek, Thai, Asia, Mexican, Western, etc. Dishes with fish, chicken and pork were served in different styles. It wasn't difficult for us to find plenty we liked at each meal. There were plenty of soft drinks and ice available. They noticed I drank ice tea, so they made it a point to make a pitcher or more each day. Wine and beer were available. You helped yourself and noted what you took - Strictly on the honor system. Personally, we thought the food was some of the best offered on any liveaboard we've chartered so far. If we can answer in more detail, just let us know.
