I dove the Cenotes on the mainland back last October and the water was about 73 degrees. I wore my Shorty and was fine but I am a very warm natured person. If cold water gets to you I would at least go with a full 3mil. The other thing is, if you are doing any diving before you dive the Cenotes your body temp is going to be lower already which means you are going to get cold easier.
