I was curious if anyone knew about what sort of liability you may have as boat owner and captain as related to diving. I do not have a captains license nor am I a dive instructor. I do not instruct or charter in any commercial capacity. I understand there would be different liabilities if I were.

I am very selective about the buddies I choose as a function of the dive site for safety and sanity. I am especially careful with tech dives. I invite only specific buddies I know are experienced and comfortable with the profile.

Suggesstions?
