Seeking Curacao Hotel Recommendations

My wife (a non diver) and I are in the process of booking our 3rd trip to Curacao for early October. As in past years we will be renting a home in Coral Estates very near Habitat and I will be diving with Habitat.

However this year we plan to spend a few nights elsewhere on the island. We have considered the Marriott and the Seaquarium resort but unfortunately both are booked during our proposed dates so here I am seeking hotel recommendations that would suit both diver and non-diver alike. In particular we are seeking information on the resorts in the Jan Thiel area (chogogo, papagayo and livingstone). And who have you or would you dive with from this side of the island?

What about Breezes. I spent a few nights there last year & liked it. It is walking distance to the Seaquarium too.
