    Curacao Weather In August?

Looking at a week in Curacao towards the end of August, was wondering what to expect weather-wise.

We were there in August of 07. The weather was great. We had a couple of quick afternoon rains that didn't stick around.

    Hi RJP,

I remember last August's weather on Curacao having been too good to be true (warm - some might call it hot - and sunny). Of course there's always a chance for a quick rain shower, but who cares, it's refreshing!

Do you already know where to stay? If you like a quiet place with wonderful diving, check out Westpoint!

We'll be at the Marriott, utilizing points to stay for free. Otherwise I'd be open to options. We've been there before and my two kids really liked it. We will be going "out and about" to various beaches, etc.

As Andreas said... the weather here is generally too good to be true with a slight chance of rain!!

Here is a link charting the weather: Curacao Weather & Climate

By the way, since you are staying at the Marriott, stop by Ocean Encounters at the Hilton which is right next door! We have awesome boat diving throughout the week plus special dive trips to Mushroom Forest and Klein Curacao/Eastpoint!

Any questions, please do hestiate to ask! I am always happy to assist!

    See you in August!

    Safe diving,
    Bryan
