Bulb/lamp for UK 600 torch

As the bulbs are no longer available for this lamp, can anybody suggest an alternative longer or shorter burn time immaterial. It is a Bi-pin lamp Xenon filled. Reluctant to throw away a perfectly good torch if an alternative lamp can be found. Bob

I would think a Quartz/Halogen bulb in the same voltage/# of cells, would work

what is the # of cells and the distance across the pins of the bulb?

The battery is 6 volt 5 AH rechargeable. The bulb is Xenon filled bi-pin approx 2.5cms long including pins, pin width 5 cms, somewhere about 5-6 watts.
