I guess I need to go ahead and get started with my tech training, as there are just too many things that I want to know and my local LDS always just says, don't worry about all of that stuff, just go dive and have fun. Well the problem is that I have been diving and having fun for quite some time now, and I like to be as informed as I possibly can and I personaly hope I never quit learning.
The only problem I can see with drinking underwater is swallowing air. Imagine the size of the belch after you ascended from significant depths. Impress your friends, scare the fish.
not going to be 'fizzy' because CO2 won't come out of solution at depth -- It will as you ascend-- and will give you some gnarly belches, but as an unabashed male those sorts of things are cool.
