I see you live in Fla?
Where in Fla do you dive?
That'll help with chossing an appropriate gift.
If you dive the Atlantic Ocean side, safety sausage would be a MUST for any diver.
Do you like lobtser? Maybe a lobster snare or catch bag?
If you dive caverns up in cave country.... reels are a nice gift.
No matter where you dive, a dive light is always nice to have as well as a boat bag to carry all of your gear.
i'm hoping for a pink doubles wing. or a shearwater predator. major $$$!
yeah, go with a gift cert or some books. i agree reels & spools are a 'never can have enough' kinda thing. a huge safety sausage or 25-50lb lift bag. a nice backup light, maybe a rat jr-type. a dry bag to take on the boats. a slap strap embroidered with your name or handle or a cool phrase. a boat coat, like a surfur, would be a nice gift. they're pretty neato - you can change under them & dry off with them, then turn them inside out to have the dry side next to you.
...and the days go by, water flowing under ground, into the blue again, into the silent water, under the rocks and stones, there is water underground... - talking heads

You just missed out on a used neon pink DSS wing on eBay.
I was watching it for my daughter but didn't really want to spend alot, so when went over $80, I stopped watching.
I'm lucky enough to have in-laws that ask what we want for Christmas gifts, and since I am a new diver, and don't really know yet what's useful and what's not, I thought I'd ask the board-
What diving gifts have you received that you actually liked and used?
I am asking for ideas beyond the basic equipment of BCD, reg set up, dive computer, maks/fins/snorkel, as these items are very personal, and are probably covered by other forum threads. I'm asking about accessories and other gear.
Please categorize your gifts in the following price ranges:
$10-$50
$50 - $100
$100-$200
over $250
I look forward to hearing your ideas!
A SeaCure Custom Mouthpiece would be a perfect gift. What is more important than keeping someone you love safe and comfortable while you enjoy your newfound favorite sport?
