Man pulled unconscious from waters off Sans Souci Beach

A man in his 20s was taken in critical condition to a hospital today after being pulled unconscious from the waters off Sans Souci Beach, officials said.
An Ocean Safety Division official said the man was snorkeling about 75 to 80 yards offshore, and about 35 yards outside the channel, when a beach goer spotted the unconscious man.
Lifeguards performed CPR on the man.

Snorkeler found in critical condition off Waikiki dies

A man in his 20s who got in trouble while snorkeling off Sans Souci Beach Wednesday died Friday.
He was taken in critical condition to a nearby hospital, where police said his condition worsened and he died.
The Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified the man and will perform an autopsy Monday.
