SOCAR diver dies at Bulla field - ABC.AZ
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. A diver of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has been killed at about 5 pm today.
SOCAR informs that diver Kamil Umudov, 39, died when a pipe was being attached to the jacket at Bulla field.
"In 5-10 minutes another diver, who noticed that Umudov does not respond to signals, went down into the water and found him unconscious. Despite the victim was given primary health care, his life was not saved," SOCAR said in a statement.
The causes of the accident are being examined by a specially created commission.
