Some might argue that this incident had nothing to do with diving, but I disagree. Any activities beyond our usual that contribute to a dive may possibly add to the overall challenges of the dive and thereby the toll on our body.

A woman who fell ill aboard a tour boat in Molokini Crater was medically evacuated Tuesday afternoon.
The Coast Guard said the woman, 60, was experiencing shortness of breath and weakness aboard the Pride of Maui while preparing to scuba dive.
Crewmembers on the tour boat administered oxygen, and a Coast Guard crew was diverted from a training mission to respond.
The woman was transferred to a Coast Guard vessel and transported to Kehei Boat Ramp on Maui where local emergency medical services personnel were waiting to take her to Maui Memorial Hospital.
No further information on her conditiion was available.
