Heard last night at a dive meeting that 3 were tech divers and the missing diver was diving solo.

Condolences to the family...very tragic.

So these guys were recreational and not commercial?

I first heard about the incident from an OC Diving News e-mail yesterday afternoon. There's not much in the way of details. According Local 9 news clip, all 4 divers on the Psalty V (including the missing diver) were allegedly using rebreathers.
