Welcome to Advanced Diver Magazine

Welcome to the Advanced Diver Magazine ScubaBoard!

Established in 1999, Advanced Diver Magazine quickly became the world’s largest print publication dedicated to the experienced open water diver and to the extreme cave explorer. ADM serves the interests of the advanced and technical dive community with articles, product reviews, and photojournalism of some of the best places on Earth to discover and explore.

Since the premier hard-copy issue, ADM has continued to expand its horizons. One exciting achievement was ADM E-Zine, a free PDF downloadable magazine that contains editorial features that are completely different from Advanced Diver Magazine. The E-Zine works side-by-side with the print edition to promote and expand our global readership.

Advanced Diver Magazine is looking forward to exploring yet another facet of growth, developing high definition video productions with our incorporated ADM Productions, LLC.

The purpose of the ScubaBoard forum is to give our readers an opportunity to participate -- perhaps comment on the stories, make suggestions to ADM staff writers, submit questions, or air concerns. Occasionally, we may publish information here that you won't see in the magazine or E-Zine editions. This is an exciting partnership between Advanced Diver Magazine and ScubaBoard...and our readers!

Good to see you here! It's a lovely magazine, superbly photographed, and the e-zine is excellent, too. (Except for all the rebreathers . . . )

I've read, and still own, every edition printed. It is an outstanding magazine in every sense of the word.

Curt, I love your magazine, the writing is great, and jtoorish is a superb photographer. One of my most favorite things about your mag is how your graphic artist draws the 3D cave profiles. Absolutely great! Please have him or her do more!

Subjects?

With a worldwide staff of professional photographers, photojournalists, and technical explorers, Advanced Diver Magazine is here to assist with any serious questions the parents of the Scuba Board may have.

Please feel free to ask any serious question. If we cannot answer it directly, I am positive we can pull the resources from someplace that can.

I also a big fan of the magazine, too bad it only come out 3 to 4 times a year. Maybe I'll help by writing an article one of these day.

Cheers

You live close to John Rawlings (Seattle), ADM's Chief writer and photographer. I am sure he could always use another diver for photos?

There is a nice writing piece on Mel Clark, in the RebreatherWorld forum. Mel dived Ginnie Springs recently where she test-flew a new CCR - I will let her tell you about that. I received the first of what I hope are many stills of her experience there. The pic she sent me is spectacular - sun shinning through a cloud of tannin, spring under-growth in the background and Mel in her dive equipment in the middle of that gin-clear spring water!

Question Subscription for a friend

A few months back I tried to order a subscription for a friend from the website. I could not figure out how to do this as there was no way to ship it to another address than the credit card address. I emailed the web admin, but got no reply. Is there a way to do this now? My friend would love for me to buy him a subscription
