    Advantages of Trimix?

Heart a lot about Trimix lately. I'm always interested in learning new things about diving. Can somebody explain me what are the advantages of diving with Trimix?

Pretty simple, primary is the reduction of narcosis.

Trimix greatly reduces the effect of narcosis (less N2 in breathing mix), easier to breath at depth (less dense). Some agencies like IANTD have recreational trimix for dives between 30-40m. I'm a firm believer that you dive anything except air (nitrox, trimix, heliox, heliair etc).

Trimix is a substitute gas that prevents 02 tox below 60m and reduces the narcotic effect of n2 above 60m.

    Pro's:

    Less narcosis

    Reduced work of breathing

Weight of gas carried is less.

    Cons

    Wallet weighs less too.....

Nothing, but any gas with less N2 is better. Nitrox is the standard gas use in Egypt, they will give you air if you are not Nitrox certified.
