Question on the Ion Reg

The ION regulator looks like it uses the "oceanic cdx5" 1st stage. How is the ION's 1st stage different than the CDX5?

I'm not sure about an answer to your question, but I just wanted to put in my two cents worth about the Ion Regulator. I absolutely LOVE it!!! To me, it breathes VERY easy and it is very small compared to other regs I've used. I've only been to about 60 feet with mine, but it breathes just the same at 60ft. as it does at 3ft.

its a turret style that doesn't swivel (meaning: when its mounted to the valve the 1st stage sits vertically, not straight out.)

It i like it just fine, no major problems, 2 hp and 4 lp, its symmetrical so half go off over the right shoulder and half go over the left.

Is this what you are looking fro I can take a pic?

ION and EOS are the same

Look at ST "Used Scuba Equipment and Demo Scuba Gear"
The EOS is the same as ION 1:st+ 2:nd for $300
Used Oceanic EOS Regulator reviews and discounts, Oceanic

I just got something else and missed that offer.
