I had to return my T3 to Aeris last February due to the often mentioned download problem where the downloaded data indicated depth violations where none had occurred. Aeris sent me a rebuilt unit as a replacement.
The old unit was serial number 2051 and had firmware rev #2A
The replacement unit is serial number 265 and has firmware rev#1H
I have read elsewhere in this forum that "new" T3s have later firmware revisions.
Do I have the latest available firmware for my unit? If not, how do I download and install the later version?
The only way to know for sure is to call them (or maybe they'll answer here). When I got my
replacement I asked about the firmware and was told 1H was the latest version for my DC. The
"proper" current version varies depending on the serial number range.
Just go to the Aeris site DiveAeris.com - Contact Us and leave a message for the tech service folks. They've always been quick to reply, even to my simple questions..
