I have been storing my Aeris Atmos Elite in the closet without the battery in it for the past 8 months as the customer service rep advised me to. I went to pull it out tonight to get it ready for a trip to Cozumel on Friday, I added a new battery and started it up and the screen it so dim I can barely read anything. I have only had this computer for 18 months and used it for 23 dives and do not have the receipt or the registration card. With that said, is there anything I can do ?
