Hi,
planning a trip to Mozambique in October. Since many people told me that Vilanculos (Bazaruto archipelago) has better diving than Tofo (not so crowded, corals not damaged), I wanted to go there.
But obviously the region of Vilanculos was hit by a cyclone in February - so does anyone know whether this caused damage to the reefs or whether the resorts are still closed for renovation?
I know the resort we were going to stay at end of this month, Benguerra Island Lodge, is still under repair and our travel agent moved us to Indigo Bay which is up an running.
