Any idea on pricing? Alternately would you mind keeping us posted on this?
R 4750 is ridiculously expensive for a 1 hour flight.

On LAM website, price is 2450 ZAR for 30 day round trip. The Other option is to rent a car in SA and drive up. Jo'burg to Maputo is about five hours with border crossing delays and then another 8-10 hours to Inahmbane. Prices for 4x4 rental are very attractive in SA, roads to Inhambane are pretty good, some rough patches but you don't need off-roading experience and Moz GPS map coverage is complete (rent a Garmin from Vodacom, 10 ZAR a day). Take your time and enjoy the drive. Since my initial post, I have been working inMozambique a lot (driving with crew), and have been diving in Ponto de Oura, Inhaca and Barrazuto and Vilanculos. I still think that Tofo is the best. When you drive you get to experience Mozambique, stopping for fuel or a piece of fruit in a market can be great fun. Or just stopping at a lodge off the beaten track.
