EEK CAPE VERDE to go or not??

well im working on a summer diving vacation and i ruled out SA and NZ bc of my budget right now, i was thinking the red sea but i feel its close diving to the carribbean which is where alot of my diving has taken me. I have been diving off the coast of nj and like the challenge. So is cape verde a different kind of diving? is anyone planning anything soon? even if its not verde just some cool ideas would help thanks guys
