    Mombasa and area diving recommendations?

    Hi,

I'll be heading off to Mombasa at the end of April attend a week of work-related training (it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it). I was thinking of adding on a couple of days (max one week) to check out the sites. Any recommendations about where to go, good dive outfits etc? Ideally, I'd like to still be based in Mombasa, but short domestic travel would still be okay.

Looking forward to all your advice.

    David

Theres a place about 70 km up the road - north, called Malinde. Diving is good the resorts there are good, its a peaceful place so not to go looking for nightlife etc Hotel itself has basic live entertainment but mainly a family type location but beautiful
