Several years ago, we bought two Akona roller duffel bags. This was when Akona had a "lifetime" warranty on their products. Now the warranty is only two years. I wanted to have a bag that we bought when the warranty was "lifetime" repaired but was told that it could not be since it was out of warranty. Is this the official policy? If I had known at the time when the warranty changed, I would have had the bag repaired then. I like the bags but they rust quite easily and zippers continue to fail fairly regularly and would like them to be repaired.
I am really sorry about the delay in our reply. I was just today made aware that this was never replied to. Sorry.
AKONA has never had a lifetime warranty on it's bags. AKONA has always offered a 2-year warranty on bags. I am aware of only one company that has a Lifetime warranty on their bags, but typically the bags are twice the cost of ours.
