    New Years Eve/ New years day Whittier, AK. 2008/2009

    I'll be in Whittier New Years Eve. Anybody interested in doing a night dive Dec. 31st/ Jan 1st? Get a hold of me here or just show up.

    I tried to talk my wife into such a dive before I saw your post - but was unsuccessful. We're having a party that night, otherwise I would be out there.

    Whittier

    Hope you get some takers on the Smitty's Cove new years eve night dive. When we lived up there we loved ending our night dives there by slowly rising to the top of the wheelhouse where hundreds of glowing shrimp eyes stared back at our lights-it was cool!

    We also liked to dive the fishing boat wreck off to the left on the creek the train bridge goes over-had some fun sea lion interaction over there

    Can't blame them, Air temp 12 degrees F, Wind speed 55 mph out of SSW.
    I'm bagging the night dive, I'll see ya'll on the 1st.
