    Lake Clean-up

Bunch of divers cleaned up the bottom of DeLong Lake on Sunday.

Local scuba divers jump in to cleanup lake - KTUU.com | Alaska's news and information source |

    Max Depth 16, Vis 0 -5, Water temp 41 to 45. BT 45 minutes.

Muck on the bottom, otter and muscrat in the area. Lots of beer cans, crutch, etc.

Its one of those dives where what you are doing and who you are doing it with are much more important than the conditions under which it is taking place.

Sounds like a good time, glad to hear of some good going amongst all the doom and gloom we always hear about. Kudos to those involved.
