Hello:

Considering retiring my Micra regulator in favor of a Legend LX. Can the Legend first stage handle a wireless transmitter without the use of a small high pressure hose or port extender? I need such a set up with my SEA/Cousteau first stage as the ports are too close to each other.

Thanks,
C.

The legend 1st stage should not need any extension for the use of AI transmitters. I had an Oceanic one on mine and had no problems, and the new design should have no issues either.

I have seem my OW instructor use a AL wireless transmitter on his Legend. So the short answer is yes, it will work. But I guess it can depend on your transmitter too.

The Legend first stage was designed to accept wireless transmitters. That was one of the design criteria. Enjoy!

I've used Oceanic and Sunnto, hoseless transmitters on my AL Legend Supreme ACD...W/o a problem.....The Sunnto transmitter fits tight against any brand 1st stage and needs a very flat [thin] wrench to snug it down......Transmitters are nothing more than electronic hp hoses....
