From August 5th to the 15th we have scheduled CCR training on Utila, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras.
The courses will be conducted through the Utila Dive Centre Utila Dive Center and conducted by IANTD Mexico/Central America Training Director Andreas Matthes (Matts), accommodations are available in the Mango Inn resort.
Matts is scheduled to run courses on the Inspiration, Megladon and the Optima units.
Course fees are;
Rebreather diver CCR Inspiration / Megalodon / Optima
5 Days 8 Dives Course Fee - $1000.00usd plus expenses
Rebreather diver CCR Inspiration Normoxic Trimix 3 Days 4 Dives
Course Fee $600.00usd plus expenses
Accommodations can be booked for between $45 and $80 per night, and can accommodate 2-3 persons.
Daily expenses for an average meal is $4-6 per person, a soft drink 70 cents and a cold beer $1.
Utila can be reached within a few hours from the USA hubs of Miami and Houston and offers an excellent training environent. At that time fo the year the water temperature is approximately 86-90F, visibility 60-100ft and no significant current.
