We have a newer vehicle in our fire dept. to use as our dive/rescue vehicle. We are looking for ideas for transporting our bottles to and from station to vehicle and from vehicle to dive site. We are thinking of making a simple box with cutouts to "cradle" the bottles. Or maybe one with holes where the bottles stand upright. Any other ideas or suggestions? If you have pics you can email them to firediver35@aol.com.

Thanks

You can go to www.diversdirect.com and look in their shop on line section. they sell these metal trakcs that are made for boats, but I'm sure they can be palces in a truck bed. They have these plastic holders that secure into the tracks to keep your bottles upright. Also you wold just get some plastic pipe or some foam stuff, cut it into strips and connect the strips with rope. The tanks would then be craddled between the pipes and rest ing on the ropes, this will keep them from rolling around. Maybe someone on here has a picture of what I'm talking about.
