First I have seen it... Very cool. I wish my diving expirence was in line with a dive of that depth. I think it would be neet to see one before stripped. Of corse getting to that part of the world is not a drive to Jersey either

whew! 70m of water! Plus if 86 men are still listed as missing, I would imagine it would be protected and not a spot for rec/tec divers.

Don't see why this would be protected. We can dive on the U-869, and it's got the whole crew aboard. We can dive the Japanese ships in Truk, they've got crew aboard. It's the same thing here.
Don't disturb the remains, and treat the wreck with respect, and we just might have a new divesite.
