My husband and I are going to Oahu in September, but find ourselves 3 days short of a place to stay. We thought we would fly to Maui for those days, but we are not sure of where to stay. Can anyone recomend a very nice place to stay on the beach that won't cost an arm and a leg??

Thank you,
Catgirldiver

Look in Maui News under vacation rentals.
Aloha

The Kihei Surfside can be had for ~$110/night (1 bedroom condo). Oceanfront with Keawakapu beach (reasonable snorkeling) right there.

See AA Oceanfront Rentals: http://www.aaoceanfront.com/index2.cfm

They have other stuff, too... but the Surfside is *really* nice for the price.

Hello, I live on Oahu but if you go to Maui, check out Lahaina Shores (condos) on the beach and you can walk to all shops etc. in Lahaina. David Paul's has stellar food and the pu-pu's are enough food for me.
