DR Transweight 16 placement

I'm using a DiveRite Transplate and am considering the Transweight 16. I used the Transweight 32 with my old Transpac, but I don't need that much weight. Do the Transweight 16 pouches mount on to or around the side plate like the 32 does? They will save me a lot of space if they do.

The Transweight 16 mounts on the waist strap.

I designed a special keeper to keep mine from moving forward/down when I'm diving.

The newer version of the 16 is far superior to the old version.

If you go that route, make sure that the Transweight 16 pouches that you get have the Q/D clip on them.
