I am thinking about PG for October/November this year. Any comments on the
weather, the quality of the diving, the accommodations and any general
comments. My experience has been most of the Caribbean, PNG, Aus, Komodo,
Thailand. (mostly on liveaboards)

thanks....Al

puerto gallera is great but currents are a bit strong and are reserved for more seasoned divers as well as regular techies. they have incredible infrastructure for tech diving if thats your thing. i can hook you up with great people and resorts if you dont have any yet. cheers!

Go for it. though it is moonsoon season the area is relatively protected from the Southwest winds. Though you can play cat and mouse with any typhoons then.

going back, Travel from PG to mainland would be around 1pm to 2pm
