I won the NSS/CDS photography contest for the 2006 Calendar. My winning photograph showed up on the cover of the Jul/Aug 2005 issue of Underwater Speleology and will also be the cover of the 2006 Calendar.

The picture was taken in the Madonna Passage of the Cenote Temple of Doom in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico using a Nikonos V with a 15mm lens and a SB105 Strobe with a Ikelite Substobe 200 slave mounted on the back of my buddy. I used Kodak E100GX slide film, 2.8f, 1/60th.
