Can anyone tell me about hawaiian slings. Also need info on pole spears and tips. Which of these would be best for flounder on near shore wrecks and artificial reefs off of the NC and SC coast.

Cheap, efficient and you can hang on to them. Much more likely to lose the shaft with a hawaiian sling. Pretty much any tip will work. Get an all stainless tri-point or rock point spinner.
