New To AZ from TX

I am just in the process of moving to Chandler, AZ from Dallas. I am hoping to find a dive buddy in the area or possibly get some info on dive shops in the area. I just got certified last summer, so I would love to take some more classes to get more experience.

I live in Las Vegas and dive somewhat often in lake Mohave. So if don't mind the drive let me know. I also dive S. Cali.

I've heard good things about Saguaro from one of our club members.

In Mesa there's El Mar - http://www.elmar.com/marmain.htm. imho the best LDS in the Phoenix Metro area. They're a PADI 5 Star IDC/CDC and worth a look.

You might be interested in joining our Arizona Scuba club. David, our "leader" is responsible for the setup of this forum and also a Yahoo group that more of our members post on - not sure why...

We currently have 135+ members and organize trips locally, regionally - San Carlos, MX. and SoCal and internationally. We intentionally don't affiliate ourselves with a local dive shop, but all are welcome to join and post information monthly about their events.

It's free to join. We meet socially the 2nd Wednesday(or Thursday) of the month from 5:30 to 8:30 usually at a location in SE Phoenix. When you join the group, you'll automatically receive all the meeting/trip notifications.
