Hi all

Just looking for some advice am new to underwater photography and looking for some advice, Am in the market of wither a ys90 sea and sea strobe or the lx-25 video light. The photos i am taking are not only macro but it will be mostly macro.

I have a Fuji F810 and fuji underwater housing and have taken a few good photos with the flash on macro but all other photos are coming out very blue. Any advice would be gr8t

Thanks
Jack

For shots w/o the strobe use manual white balance as I have shown here. That involves calibrating your white balance at the depth of your shots. Also use manual mode so that you can set the F stop and shutter speed. Then adjust your photos in PS or the like.

For macro shots your built in strobe should be okay.

As for video light vs. strobe IMHO you should go with a strobe.

I agree, even the smallest strobe can put out more power (burst power) than a 100 watt video lamp.
