I'm planning to travel for 1 year while diving around the world.... and I'm in love with this idea of 12 months of backpacking and diving :07:

Any time of how to dive for free?

Internships? Work in exchange for dives?

Any ideas out there????

Hmmm....

Pretty difficult one....
I think it'd be a bit difficult, specially if you have nothing to offer to the diving operation...
I saw in your profile that you're a DM/AI/Instructor, which one? what agency? What's your experience?

Where do you plan to go?

(by the way, if you can complete your profile, it will help a lot to gain some context to what you write)

Dont know what magazines are avaliable in Spain, but the UK mags Diver and PADI Sport Diver often have ads for divers to help with research projects and scientific studies.

Ive always fancied trying them - anyone out there done one?

Good luck on your travels

Have you considered "Free"diving? All you need is a mask, fins, and snorkel. Some of my best diving experiences have been freediving.
