I'm looking at the various dry suit materials and wondering the difference. Crushed neoprene vs hypercompressed neoprene. What is really the difference...performance , wear, boyancy, drying time. In the DUI line they offer both, seems the crushed is about twice the cost over hypercompressed. The material looks about the same. Does the crushed material really outperform the other that much? Help I hate to spend the $$ and not get the extra???

Kenny,

I have two of the crushed neoprene DUI Cf-200 suits. One I bought used, and the other is my CF-200X custom. Both are extremely comfortable, and, judging by the life left in the used suit (by factory personnel estimate), they last forever with any kind of care.
