Has anyone tried diving with one of those “Freedom” Hybrid flashlights?

I just got a bunch of them for my side business and as an MS fundraiser.

I’ll be diving a bunch late next week and I’m going to give one a try.

Are they really waterproof enough to dive with? What about the charging port?

Might be. I can't see any place that unscrews or opens up. There aren't any charging ports to be a problem.

I looked at the website....looked like a cord, must be a wrist strap...thought it was a charger for the litium batteries.

I'm betting waterproof in this case means 'water resistant.'

Give it a try and see what happens. It's be great to have a backup that didn't rely on batteries.

I'm betting it isn't very bright. Let us know how it works for you...

I tried one "on land" awhile back and was not all that impressed with the light output. It was quite dim, especially for how big it was.
